Look of the day: Colorful makeup and a floral maxi dress with POCKETS!

I've decided to start posting more outfit of the day (and makeup of the day) looks here on the blog again. I hope you like them!

It's finally starting to feel like spring, so today I wore this gorgeous floral maxi dress.

 I got this dress from Rosegal a couple of years ago, and it's one of my favorite pieces from them (gifted). It's super long (I'm wearing heels in the photos), AND IT HAS POCKETS. Don't you just love a dress with pockets? All dresses should have pockets (well, all dresses that realistically can look good with pockets). 

For my makeup today, I tried some new things I got from Beauty Bay (purchased with my own money).

I used both the Anastasia Beverly Hills Amrezy palette and the Beauty Bay Sunset Horizons palette (which I actually got for free when I ordered the other things) for my eyeshadow. As a cherry on top of the cake, I added Lunar Beauty lashes in the style Aries. They are super dramatic and I love them.

I went a bit overboard with the winged liner, haha! However, as the look in general was so dramatic, I think it worked fine. 

I played off the colors of the dress and created this pink and blue look. Since the eye makeup was a LOT, I went for a pretty neutral lip. I used my new Lunar Beauty lip gloss in "Starlight", with some pink-ish nude lip liner. The lip gloss is really interesting - it feels pretty nourishing, like a lip balm, almost like vaseline? It's pretty though, and the scent is amazing.
